Trevor Scott is a young business professional whose creative problem solving and innovative thinking has helped generate partner returns and shareholder success worldwide. Building upon extensive collegiate leadership and MBA-level training, Trevor recently served as global economic advisory staff for the CEO, CIO, and Chief Economist at investment management firm First Trust Advisors, L.P. near Chicago.
While at First Trust Advisors, Trevor distributed economic advisory material and top level business intelligence to investors worldwide. In addition to editing business and financial articles published in the Wall Street Journal, Fortune and Newsweek, he also synthesized financial market information for First Trust’s asset management business--which supervised over $30 Billion.
Building upon his global markets investment experience, Trevor was selected to be one of only twelve Fellows admitted to the Trinity Forum Academy, a prestigious leadership training school near Washington, DC. While under the mentorship of field experts from Harvard University and the United States Senate, he completed his masters-level research thesis The Challenge of Leadership, which identifies insightful characteristics of excellent leaders for application to business and management.
Currently, Trevor serves commercial clients at BattlePlans - a management consulting company focused on serving the capital raising needs of entrepreneurs and executives. He also serves as President and Founder of HealthMatrix, a socially-sustainable, not-for-profit healthcare finance organization. In addition to his passions for global business and world health, Trevor is a native of Washington State and enjoys his family, music, and all types of water-sports.
